Nvidia Zotac RTX 3050 Review:
If you want to buy the cheapest RTX GPU and still want good ray tracing performance and enough speed to handle any game at great Frames then you should go for this NVidia ZOTAC RTX 3050 because it is one of the most affordable GPUs with great gaming performance.
MSRP:
This GPU is the 1st RTX GPU which is released at $250 MSRP, that’s almost the same as the older 1660 Super MSRP which was just $230, but if we talk about the value of both GPUs then we all know this is an RTX GPU which supports DLSS so this must be the better choice.
Clock Speed:
This GPU comes in different models, from Gigabyte, and ZOTAC, which you can buy for anyone all are almost the same in performance. It has 8GB GDDR6 of Video Memory which is enough for HD Gaming. The base clock of this GPU is 1552 MHz and the boost clock is 1777 MHz, if you want to overclock the clocks of this GPU then you can use MSI afterburner.
Features:
On the front, there are 2 HDMI, and 2 Display Ports which will be used for outputs. To prevent the GPU from bending and giving it a long life span it comes with a solid backplate designed the same as other RTX GPUs. The power consumption of this GPU is just normal because it requires an 8-pin power connector with a TDP of 130Watts which is not too low and not extra high.
Gaming Performance:
This RTX 3050 has 2560 CUDA Cores, and in fact, the older GTX 1080 also has the same number of CUDA Cores as this GPU. The gaming performance of this GPU is pretty amazing because it can run Cyberpunk 2077 with Ray Tracing and DLSS enabled at 55 to 60 Frames per second, which is a mind-blowing gaming performance for a GPU at this price.
Ray Tracing:
The NVidia RTX 3050 is a great GPU at a budget price and Nvidia is now trying to make their GPUs available for budget gamers too, so they can also enjoy the Ray Tracing and DLSS gaming experience. This GPU has a memory bus width of 128bits which is normal but in my opinion, they should have given at least 192bits for gamers and a smoother gaming experience, but it’s still better than nothing.
Outputs:
This GPU supports Direct X 12 Ultimate which means you can run any latest generation game without any issue, and for outputs, we will get a couple of HDMI 2.1 ports that can support up to 7680×4320 at 60Hz, at 8K/60FPS and at 4K/120FPS. And it also has 3 x DisplayPort 1.4a that can support up to 7680×4320 at 60Hz.
