Which 360Hz Monitors To Consider For Gaming?
For butter smooth and liquid flow gaming it experiences the most important component required is a higher screen refresh rate monitor, and as we know in this year 2023 there are many new monitors available that are very much worth buying, The most recommended screen refresh rate monitors in 2023 are the 360Hz monitors because these monitors have no limits of power, they are truly capable of running any game at its peak frame rates because of having the ability to go up to 360 Frames per second.
Which Refresh Rate Is Best For Gaming?
For gaming, it is recommended to have at least a 144Hz Gaming monitor for a smoother experience but if you want to have a future-proof gaming setup then its better to go for 360Hz gaming monitors instead of buying any 144Hz, 240Hz, or 280Hz gaming monitors because the price difference between all these is not too huge, thus making the 360Hz monitors better value for the money as compared to other monitors.
Why these Monitors are the best 360Hz Monitors?
There are many 360Hz monitors available in stores to buy but not everyone is good to buy, always collect information about the monitors you are going to buy so later you will not regret it. I have recommended the five best monitors to consider for completely future-proof performance.
I have recommended these five monitors by combining all my experience from past years for gaming monitors and I choose them because they are better than all other monitors available in the market, simple I will say that these are the best ever 360Hz Gaming Monitors to buy.
Are 360Hz Monitors Worth Buying For Gaming?
Yes definitely they do, and the reason for the 360Hz Monitors to consider is that you can play games at the peak frame rates, but always remember not all games can reach a peak frame rate of up to 300 or higher.
So when you are buying a 360Hz monitor keep in mind that the games which require huge power like Cyberpunk 2077 cannot go to frame rates like 200 or above, but you can play games like VALORANT, Fortnite, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Rainbow Six Siege, and Overwatch at upto 300 or higher frame rates easily with these 360Hz Monitors.

1. ASUS ROG Swift 360Hz PG259QNR
24.5” HDR Gaming Monitor, 1080P Full HD, Fast IPS, 1ms, G-SYNC, ULMB
ASUS ROG Swift 360Hz PG259QNR Monitor Review:
ASUS has launched many many gaming monitors that are providing better value and performance than many of the ASUS competitors, that’s why ASUS is one of the most beloved brands of gamers. The ASUS ROG Swift 360Hz PG259QNR and PG259QN are the two first 360Hz gaming monitors of ASUS, also the previous PG259QN was the first 360Hz monitor of all, but this PG259QNR is more advanced and better.
Design and Ergonomics:
This ASUS ROG Swift 360Hz Monitor comes in a solid design and it’s a bit heavy though, but this further makes the monitor strong and reliable. This monitor has good height adjustment and tilt movement, it also has great pivot movement thus allowing one to view the screen at any desired angle, whether you want to view it in portrait mode or standard.
If I talk about the screen of this monitor then I will say this monitor has the perfect screen size for gamers, I know 24.5 inches screen size is not large enough but it’s a perfect size for gamers and the bezels of this monitor are very tiny which makes the display looks more large and focusable.
Advantage In Competitive Gaming:
I will recommend this monitor for esports and competitive gamers because with this monitor there is a huge advantage of higher frame rates and low input lag, with minimal ghosting which is a key factor in competitive gaming, monitors with high ghosting are not good for competitive gaming at all.
Built-In G-Sync Processor:
The main feature of this monitor is the built-in NVidia G-Sync processor it has, which makes it the best G-Sync monitor, so if you are having an NVidia GPU you should consider this monitor to try the fastest G-Sync ever with minimal screen tearing and buttery smooth motion in games
1ms Grey to Grey Response Time:
One more feature of this monitor that I should tell you about is the fast 1ms grey to the grey response time of this monitor, but as we know that the 1ms response time always increases ghosting which may look unsatisfied so I will recommend running this monitor on 2ms response time which has minimal ghosting.

2. Alienware AW2521H 25″ Full HD LED LCD 360Hz Monitor
Alienware AW2521H 25 Inch 360Hz Monitor:
This Alienware AW2521H Is one of the good value 360Hz gaming monitors available in the market. Its a 25 Inches large monitor, comes with two HDMI ports of 2.0 and both ports are capable of running at 240Hz but if you want to get the maximum refresh rate of the monitor which is 360Hz then you will need to use display port 1.4 which is available in this monitor, display port is usually used for higher refresh rates.
Usability:
The monitor also has a headphone jack, just along the headphone jack there you can find four USB 3.0 ports and one USB 3.2 port. If I talk about the looks of this monitor then I will say Alienware has done pretty good work there on the design and looks of this monitor, there are a total of three RGB zones available on this monitor.
Design:
The larger RGB Zone is on the back of the stand which glows perfectly when the monitor turns on, the other one is the power button which also is RGB, and the final one is on the rear side of the monitor which displays a beautiful sky blue color Alienware logo. These RGB zones make this monitor more attractive that’s why people are loving it for its looks. This monitor has some great ergonomics, it is capable of all kinds of pivot movements, also it does have a proper height adjustment with tilt and swivel Adjustments.
Ghosting and Response Time:
The most concerning features in higher refresh rate monitors are the response time and ghosting because ghosting has a huge impact on gaming, especially competitive games like Fortnite and COD Modern Warfare. The ghosting of this monitor is one of the best and most optimized ones because when we played on super-fast response time which was 2ms the games were very smooth and there was very little ghosting.
Which Response Time Is Best For Playing Games?
There are a total of three modes available the first one is fast which is a 3ms response time, the second one is super-fast which is a 2ms response time and the final one is extreme which is a 1ms response time, the best one I will recommend playing games on is the super-fast 2ms response time because on that mode you will get boosted frame rates with apparently lower ghosting but if you shifts to extreme the frame rates will get further high which is good but the problem will be the ghosting which will directly increase on the extreme mode.
In extreme mode, there is one more big disadvantage which is the increase in motion blur, and that can make the game bad at focus and you may get annoyed with it.
For which games this Monitor Is best?
I will say if you are willing to buy this monitor and you want to play some competitive games like Valorant, Fortnite, and CS GO then this monitor is the best option for you because it will provide you with some good advantages as compared to other lower refresh rate monitors, and as we said this monitor has a very low amount of ghosting ratio which further gives benefits in competitive games.

3. BenQ Zowie XL2566K
24.5 Inches, 360Hz Gaming Monitor | Motion Clarity DyAc⁺ | 1080p
BenQ Zowie XL2566K 24.5 Review:
BenQ Zowie XL2566K Is one of the best fastest gaming monitors for esports gamers and the reason for its fast 360Hz refresh rate with quick response time and low input lag, thus making it a pure esports gaming monitor. BenQ is a company that is always interested in esports and it has been launching very beneficial gaming products for esports gamers for the last few years esports gamers are loving them, so it is the best choice monitor for gamers who are playing esports or any other competitive games like Fortnite, and call of duty Modern Warfare 2.
Design And OSD:
This Monitor comes with a shielding hood which makes the monitor very easy to use even if you have set up near the window, so you will not have to worry about the light or reflection coming from the window because the shield will prevent any kind of reflection to go onto the screen. For customizing the OSD (on-screen display) of the monitor you can use the S Switch which comes with the monitor that gives instant access to the settings of the monitor, another method you can use for going into settings is by using the buttons of the monitor.
Con: TN Panel Monitor:
The worse thing about this monitor is the panel is used, and that’s a TN panel which is now very much outdated and no one considers it except the esports gamers. The TN panel is used in this monitor to just get a higher screen refresh rate with quick response time but the problem with the TN panel is that it has the worst Color range and accuracy with bad viewing angles.
Dyac+ For Outstanding Motion In Games:
Now I will talk about the two best features of this BenQ Zowie XL2566K monitor which no other 360Hz gaming monitor has mastered like this BenQ monitor, the first one is Dyac+ and this feature is all about the Motion in games, it maximizes the motion clarity and makes the image more realistic. Dyac+ looks better when it’s available on a monitor like this one with a 360Hz refresh rate, and this feature can bring your gaming experience to some higher levels which you have not expected yet.
Black Equalizer:
The second feature which BenQ has brought into this monitor is the black equalizer which works by maximizing or brightening the darker areas of the screen, thus you will be able to spot better at gaming even if the environment is dark.

4. ViewSonic ELITE XG251G
25 Inch 1080p 1ms 360Hz IPS Gaming Monitor
ViewSonic ELITE XG251G 25 Inch 360Hz Monitor Review:
ViewSonic is a well-known brand and especially in gaming it has made a good name, well today I’m going to recommend one of the best monitors from the ViewSonic brand which is this ViewSonic ELITE XG251G 25 inches large and 360Hz gaming monitor. This is a FULL HD and IPS Panel gaming monitor, as we know IPS panel monitors are always best for gaming and they have better color accuracy than TN Panels that’s why it is recommended in our guide.
Design:
The design of this monitor is unique for its stand, which looks beautiful because there is an RGB ring around the stand area, thus providing a better look to the monitor. Above the RGB ring, there is the logo of ViewSonic and at the bottom left and bottom right there are two built-in speakers. The monitor has height adjustment, with tilt, pivot, and swivel adjustments.
Connectivity:
As with other 360Hz gaming monitors, this monitor also has the same connectivity, it has a single Display port of 1.4 which can run on 360Hz, and there are two HDMI 2.0 ports available in this monitor. If you are using HDMI 2.0 ports then you can get up to 240Hz of refresh rate on this monitor.
Brightness:
As we know this monitor is a FULL HD IPS panel so it will have good contrast and brightness levels, and this one has very good brightness at Max HDR and SDR, we have given the table below where all the brightness levels are mentioned.
Brightness Levels: | Candelas(CD) / m2 |
---|---|
MAX HDR Brightness | 383 cd/m2 |
MAX SDR Brightness | 368 cd/m2 |
MAX ULMB Brightness | 188 cd/m2 |
MAX SRGB Brightness | 107 cd/m2 |
MAX Brightness | 36 cd/m2 |
Input Lag:
As for the gaming performance of this monitor, in our test, it got a 2.8ms input lag at 1080P and 360Hz while playing different games like CS GO. Fortnite and AC Valhalla, this input lag is very impressive for a 360Hz gaming monitor, the best input lag ranges from 2.1ms to 3.0ms at 360Hz.
Response Time:
For ghosting and response time, this monitor has three modes, by our testing, the first one is standard which got a 3.3ms response time, the second one is advanced which got 3.1ms and the final one is the ultra-fast mode which got the lowest 2.7ms response time. I haven’t recommended this ultra-fast or 2.7ms mode on any monitor yet so on this one I will not recommend too the reason for that is the same as I mentioned for the above monitors when we shift to 1ms response time mode the ghosting and motion blur increases which are not worthy to play competitive games at.
Ghosting:
Below we have shown the test of all the response time modes available at 360Hz on this monitor, there is one more mode you will see in the below snapshot and that is the ULMB mode which is one of the best modes and I will recommend it to use it if you are playing any game limited to 240 Frame rates because this mode has almost the lowest ghosting ever and you will not even notice the ghosting there with your naked eyes, but this mode is not available at 360Hz which is a bit sad.
One more thing I will mention about this ULMB mode is that if you are using NVidia G-Sync then at the time you will not able to enable this mode because this mode cannot work along with NVidia G-Sync.

Design and Looks:
As for looks and design this monitor has a brilliant finish on the back side which I liked the most, it has a beautiful stand that is super smooth and there is a small Alienware logo just on the left side of the stand which looks further good.
For the front side of the monitor, there is only the display and the Alienware logo which is noticeable because of the super thin bezels this monitor has. I always love monitors with thin bezels because they look so premium and better as compared to other monitors with thick bezels, and it makes the display more focusable and clear.
