Intel Core i9-13900K is the fastest processor in the market right now, there’s no other PC CPU that can beat the speed of this CPU because it is built for speed and power, and this makes it the gaming king of the future. This Intel CPU will be the dream for gamers and every gamer will want to have it in their build or wants to make a build on Intel core i9-13900k. This Intel Core i9 13900K has a total of 24 Cores that are more than the Latest AMD Ryzen 9 7950X which is having only 16 Cores.
Motherboard For Intel Core i9-13900K:
For the first build, we used an ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Apex Motherboard, and the reason for it is that this motherboard has an insanely high number of power-stages VRM which is capable of the extreme amount of power delivery to all the components in the motherboard. With this ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 APEX motherboard, each component will be able to reach its highest peak of performance because there are no restrictions on the power.
360mm AIO Cooler for Intel Core i9-13900K:
Next, we used an Alphacool Eisbaer PRO Aurora 360mm, AIO Cooler, for this Intel Core i9-13900K CPU, in our point of view, this cooler is the best one to pair with this Intel 13th gen CPU because the cooling performance of this cooler is extraordinary which makes the CPU to perform better and smoother by keeping its temperature cool at heavy workloads or usage.
GPU (RTX 4090):
GPU is the major component for gamers, every gamer is concerned about the GPU. The performance of the GPU will be better when the CPU is doing the processing work at its best and for that, a CPU like i9-13900K is the one and only best option. For this CPU a powerful GPU is mandatory because if you paired a low-end GPU with this kind of CPU then the performance will be worst, and even the game will not be playable.
To avoid any bottleneck in the performance we have paired an NVidia RTX 4090 with Intel Core i9-13900K which made it a complete beast Gaming PC Build. This RTX 4090 is the fastest GPU available for now in the market, there’s no other GPU that can beat it in the benchmark score in all AAA Titles. Below are the Benchmarks and FPS of RTX 4090 compared with the previous RTX 3090 in many of the latest AAA Titles, and we clearly see that the performance difference between both GPUs is insane. The RTX 4090 beats RTX 3090 by more than 25% in many games and that’s why we call it the best-performing gaming GPU for the upcoming year 2023.
RAM:
We have used a Trident Z5 DDR5 6000MHz RAM which is the fastest DDR5 Ram and comes with the lowest CL Timings of “CL36-36-36-96” for better and smoother performance with no delay. The best thing about this RAM is that is not that much expensive like other DDR5 RAMs and also the performance is great, so it’s the most valuable pick for this build.
Case:
For Case, we picked a “Phanteks Eclipse P500” because this case has enough room to carry a large GPU like RTX 4090, some builders use NZXT Cases for these kinds of builds but I will recommend this case over NZXT cases because NZXT cases become too much bulky with RTX GPUs and then there will be not enough room for other components, also that gives an odd look to the build.
PSU:
The PSU is one of the important components in expensive gaming builds, and here we have chosen “Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 ATX 3.0 Power Supply” which I think is the best PSU for this kind of build and the reason of it being the best is that this PSU provides up to 1200 Watts of power which will be enough for all the power eating components install onto your motherboard. This Build requires more power than other AMD Builds so make sure to choose PSU wisely or not lower than 1200 watts at least. For evidence, we will show you the power usage for some components of this build.
The below stats show that it almost reached 1200 Watts in total, so it clearly means that this build requires a PSU higher than 1200 Watts, that’s why we selected a PSU over 1200 watts.
Component | Peak Power Usage |
---|---|
13900K CPU | 253 W |
Top-Tier Graphics Card (e.g., Nvidia RTX 4090) | 450 W |
Mid-Tier Graphics Card (e.g., Nvidia RTX 3060) | 170 W |
Motherboard | 80 W |
3.5″ Hard Drive | 9 W |
M.2 or 2.5″ SSD | 9 W |
140 mm or 120mm Case/CPU Fan | 6 W |
80 mm Case/CPU Fan | 3 W |
Fans:
The Fans we used are normal Corsair QL Series 120mm Fans you can choose 140mm also if you like their performance it is up to you.

Build Details:
The second build is for people who cannot afford the first build but wants almost the same performance, that’s why we have brought AMD RX 6950 GPU by replacing NVidia RTX 4090 so the build total cost dropped by almost 50%. There is no way that AMD RX 6950 can beat the performance and benchmarks scores of NVidia RTX 4090 but we should keep in mind that AMD RX 6950 has always stayed close to the RTX 4090 in benchmarks, meaning that there is little margin in the competition every time we tested both GPUs.
NVidia RTX 4090 Vs AMD RX 6950:
The Performance difference is not that much between the Rtx 4090 and RX 6950 GPUs but the price difference is pretty noticeable. The AMD RX 6950 is priced at around $1000 in all the famous stores and on the other hand, NVidia RTX 4090 is above $2000 in different stores. This AMD RX 6950 with Intel core i9-13900K will be the best value build for gamers. If someone has a good budget and wants to go for the best-performing GPU for the upcoming years then I will recommend them to go for the first build which we ranked as best overall.
Motherboard:
The motherboard used here is ASUS Prime Z790-A WiFi 6E Motherboard which is a great motherboard, it is 40% less expensive than the motherboard in the first build which is ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Apex Motherboard. Both these motherboards are having huge price differences but here the difference in performance is also big because the first build motherboard ASUS ROG Maximum z790 APEX has an insanely 24 Power stage which is insanely high and no other motherboard can beat it right now if we keep it to power and performance. The second build motherboard which is ASUS Prime Z790-A comes with a 16+1 power stage which in my opinion is valuable to buy at this price.
Cooler and RAM:
For the Intel core i9-13900K in the second build, we have used a Corsair iCUE H150i RGB Elite Liquid CPU AIO Cooler which is a little noisier than the cooler in the first build but has a Higher RPM than the first build CPU Cooler. The RAM we have used in the second build is Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB DDR5 64GB (2x32GB) 5200MHz which is not faster than the first build’s RAM also the price difference is likely, not noticeable, so I will recommend that you can choose the Trident Z5 instead of Corsair domination but if your budget is extremely tight then you can choose Corsair Dominator.
PSU Used In The second Build:
The power usage of the second build is lower than the power usage of the first build because here we have AMD Rx 6950 GPU replacing the NVidia RTX 4090 which was too much power hungry GPU and this AMD RX 6950 can run smoothly with 1200 Watts PSU, so we picked this Corsair HX Series, HX1200, 1200 Watt 80+ PSU.
Included Components:
- Intel Core i9-13900K
- ASUS Prime Z790-A WiFi 6E LGA 1700 Motherboard
- PowerColor Red Devil AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT 16GB GPU
- Corsair iCUE H150i RGB Elite Liquid CPU AIO Cooler
