Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 Super Review:
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super is an old dedicated Gaming Ray Tracing Graphics card specially made for high-end / 1440p gaming. It comes with an impressive Clock speed performance and runs the most popular games like GTA V, CALL OF DUTY WARZONE, BATTLEFIELD, etc. At 1440p at High-Ultra settings. You can quickly get 60+ FPS with no lag, and due to increased CUDA Cores, the RTX 2070 Super is a more powerful motherboard than the vanilla RTX 2070.
RTX 2070 Super is the fastest version of vanilla RTX 2070. this graphics card is based on Turing Architecture which features more Cores and Higher Clocks. It’s a future-proof graphics card which means you won’t have to change the card for at least five years.
Features
By default, the Base Clock speed of RTX 2070 Super is 1605 MHz but can be boosted up to 1770 MHz. The memory bandwidth is 448 Gbit/s. It also has the feature of direct X 12. The Thermal Design Power of RTX 2070 is 215W, which is the same as the 2080 version but is more power-efficient than RTX 2080 Ti.
This RTX 2070 comes with 40 SMs (streaming multiprocessors); SMs are part of the GPU that run CUDA Kernels. Each SM has four texture units, 1 RT core, 64 CUDA cores, and 8 Tensors. This makes its performance incredible. It’s also 12% faster than 2070 FE at 1080p medium with 60+ FPS. Also a little bit faster than Nvidia’s GTX 1080 Ti.
In gaming, the RTX 2070 performs continuously at a 1440p ultra setting. It gives 60+ FPS, but for better performance at 1440p in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, you have to do some additional settings for 60+ FPS. In 1440p, it’s 9% faster than 2070 FE.
8GB GDDR6
The graphics card has 8GB GDDR 6 of VRAM, which offers a higher transfer rate; VRAM is a dedicated memory of the graphics card. The memory BUS Width of this graphics card is 256bit, which carries more data per cycle, it increases memory performance.
Supports ECC
The best feature of this graphics card is that it supports ECC (Error-correcting code) memory. This feature detects and corrects data corruption when essential. Another feature is OpenGL, which is used for better graphics in games.
Supports Ray Tracing
Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 Super also supports Ray tracing, the latest light rendering technique used to provide realistic lighting effects in video games.
Supports DLSS
DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) it’s an upscaling technology from Nvidia, the feature available only in 23% of the GPUs. For increasing performance, This allows a graphics card to render games at a lower or higher resolution on boosting framerates. Available only in selected games.
Output Ports
Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 Super has 1 HDMI port, 3 Display ports, and 1 Type-C port. For connecting high-end monitors and Consoles.
