Many people are looking for the best Gaming TVs that can be used with their Gaming Consoles like PS5 and Xbox but not only should be limited to gaming, the perfect gaming TV should be able to satisfy their users in every aspect, like can be used as a Smart TV to watch different Channels and Netflix, also the display should be bright and HD so people can sit far and have no issue by watching the TV.
Best Gaming TVs:
As for gaming, the TV should have a high refresh rate display, like most of the Smart TVs comes with 120 Hz and you should not consider any TV lower than 120 Hz because this is very essential for gaming. The color gamma, brightness, and contrast levels also play a key role in delivering quality images to the viewers, that is why I have brought this perfect guide for the Best Gaming TVs to consider in 2023, whether you are using PS5, PS4, or any Xbox you can consider these TVs because they are chosen by combining my whole experience about technology products and I have made sure that no TV will upset our users after they follow our recommendation.
There are five TVs that we recommended and reviewed below, all of them are 4K Smart TVs which means they are able to perform anything which an advanced TV can do as you can Game on them, you can watch movies and channels them, and also you can use Internet and Youtube on these TVs with many more features.
Which Year TV Models Are Best?
I will say if you want a TV with no issues and minimal risk of getting display problems then you should only consider 2022 models because the previous year’s models are purchased more than the latest 2023 models TV which is not yet tested by the users and this means that we are not very aware of the issues hiding inside those TVs. It’s better to choose 2022 Models instead of going for any newly released 2023 model TV so you can avoid any bad situations in the future and will get the maximum value for your money.

LG C2 Series 65-Inch Class OLED evo Smart TV Review:
LG C2 Series TVs are one of the most popular TVs in the year 2022 and are still trending in the market in this year 2023. The reason for this TV to be this popular is the value for the money which this TV provides, we know this is an expensive TV but if you want the purchase a TV which can fulfill your all needs then this is the one. The stand of this TV is completely made up of metal and in size, it’s very thick, but still, you will be able to set a sound bar under the TV although it will not be easy.
Finest Bezels:
When we are purchasing any TV or a Gaming Monitor we always check it look-wise, like we check if the bezels are thin or not, so here is the TV with one of the finest bezels, this LG C2 comes with thin and sharp bezels which gives a deep and focusable look to the TV and make it more attractive. The TVs with thin bezels also look larger and better than the TVs with thick and large bezels, so always consider a TV with thin bezels for maximum satisfaction.
Bright Colors and Display:
The best thing which I personally liked about this TV is the brightness level of the TV, whether the room is dark or bright you will always be able to watch the TV with no struggle, there is nothing which I can complain about the brightness or the display of this TV, we have compared this TV Display with many other top-tier TVs but this was the winner all the time. The brightness level of this TV is 569.85 nits, but when we turn off the TV we can see a clean and deep black display with no minimal light reflections, this is what makes this TV the best.
Compared to Samsung S95B:
As the below image shows clearly how bright and deep is the display of this LG C2 OLED TV as compared to the Samsung S95B Smart TV but for the colors, I will say Samsung is better than the LG C2, the major difference is not only in colors and display but also that the LG C2 OLED performs very fast compared to other TVs.
After we compared both TVs the end result was that Samsung was very natural with the colors but the contrast level of LG C2 was better than the Samsung, as for the colors LG C2 was adding some blue to the colors which was making it look a bit unnatural, also for showing better image I will rank Samsung higher than the LG C2 TV but overall the LG C2 is still better than the Samsung S95B.
Why LG C2 Is Better Than Samsung S95B?
By comparing the prices of both TVs the LG is priced less than the Samsung S95B which makes it a good value TV but if you want the best Display with natural colors then you can consider the Samsung S95B which is about $100 more expensive than this LG C2.
As for gaming, I will only prefer LG C2 because the Samsung has bad highlights as compared to the LG C2, and the extra brightness of Samsung makes it unwatchable while HDR Gaming, that is why the LG C2 is better overall as compared to Samsung S95B.
Other features:
The LG C2 has amazing gaming performance with only an Input lag of 1.5ms at 120Hz, the gaming experience on this TV is way better as compared to other TVs. This LG C2 also has a very sleek design and is very light in weight, along this it has 4 HMDI 2.1 ports with makes it a good TV with the best connectivity. The black levels on this TV are perfect, it can never make you struggle while focusing on something on the screen.

2. Sony 65 Inch 4K Ultra HD TV X95K Series: BRAVIA XR Mini LED Smart Google TV
Best Picture Quality:
Sony 65 Inch 4K Ultra HD TV X95K Series Review:
Sony X95K Series TVs are our second recommendation for the best Gaming TVs in the year 2023. This Sony X95K TV is a head-to-head competitor of the Samsung S95B TV, both TVs are priced almost the same but the question is which TV is a better option. There are many things that we checked in both TVs and we got many different results, the Sony X95K has better picture quality and peak highlights, on the other hand, Samsung has less blooming which means the Samsung is better at dark backgrounds on brighter elements which will ensure a more readable view.
Is Sony X95K good for Gaming?
For true or hardcore gamers I will say this TV is not the best option because as I mentioned in the con, this TV losses local dimming at VVR gaming, which looks awful but only expert gamers can know the difference, if you are one then you will not get the feeling you wanted with this TV while playing high-end games. The better option for gaming will be the below Samsung S95B which has a better VRR than the Sony X95K.
I will rank this TV as the best one for watching TV Channels whether, in a bright room or a dark room, it has true colors with good brightness levels. The contrast is good and the reflection is minimum. This TV has super tiny and thin bezels which look so good.
There are some good features also about this TV that are going to improve the gaming experience on this TV, the first thing is that this monitor has local dimming which will boost the black levels in games and will display it further deeply. This Sony X95K has amazing motion handling which is also a great feature in gaming,
Build Of The TV:
The body of the TV is made very solid, the stand is very convenient and has two good bases, one of the full right corner and the other one of the left corners of the TV, this stand is different from other TVs as they usually have a single stand comes in the middle of the TV.
Quantum Dot Technology:
This TV uses Quantum dot technology which is very different than OLED, this technology actually purifies the colors better than the OLED panels, and on the other hand, the OLED panels have better black levels, so this means that OLED panels are good options for gaming and these Quantum DOT panels are good for watching movies and Streaming HD Channels.
RGB Coverages:
This Sony X95K covers 96% of DCI-P3 and it covers 76% of Rec.2020 which is good for a TV like this one. This TV also has 2000 nits of brightness which are insane, and this brightness level is higher than all the other top-tier TVs. Overall this TV is a good value for the money and you can use it for your gaming as well.
Is this TV worth buying for Gaming or PS5?
Yes, it does, but there are some limitations in the gaming performance of this TV there are also so many good features of this TV that make it a good TV to buy, as for true gaming Enthusiasts I will say they can go for a better option like LG C2 or the Samsung S95B if they really want to game with the best experience because those TVs comes with better black levels and VRR with local dimming.
The Pros:
- Good value for the money
- Local dimming helps it display deep blacks.
- Great new remote
- Ample sound abilities
- Convenient stand options
- Punchy HDR performance
- The Motion handling is amazing
- Mini LED backlight
- No upscaling issues
- Bright enough to fight glare
- Excellent reflection handling.
- Low input lag.
- Displays a wide range of colors.
- Wide color gamut.
- Very good picture quality.
The Cons:
- Expensive
- Only 2 HDMI 2.1 inputs
- Narrow viewing angles
- Bit of blooming
- Sometimes light leakeages are visible in a dark room
- No HDR10+ content processing
- Only one from the VRR technology and Dolby Vision support can be enabled at a time
- Losses local dimming at VRR
Sony 65 Inch 4K Ultra HD TV X95K Series: BRAVIA XR Mini LED Smart Google TV

3. SAMSUNG S95B 65-inch 4K Quantum HDR OLED Smart TV (2022)
Best Gaming Performance:
SAMSUNG S95B 65-inch 4K Quantum HDR OLED Smart TV Review:
This “SAMSUNG S95B 65-inch 4K Quantum HDR OLED Smart TV” is one of the best Gaming 4K smart TV available right now in the market with a very good value for the money. This TV comes with four HDMI ports 2.1 that can run at 120 Hz on 4K resolution. This TV is an OLED Panel TV same as the above LG C2 Series, but this TV has better black levels as compared to the LG C2 Series TV.
A Full Premium TV:
The body of this TV is made so premium, and it’s a very thin and light-weight TV, comes with a panel of only 9.4mm which is super slim. This TV has extremely narrow bezels which make it look so good but one thing I didn’t like about the bezels of this TV was the border color, this TV bezel are colored white from the borders which gives a unique look but it distracts the focus sometimes in dark environments.
Gaming Performance:
This Samsung S95B TV is the best Gaming TV because of its lowest input lag which is lower than all the other OLED Smart TVs, this makes the TV more attractive to gamers and increases its value as compared to other Smart TVs. Further, this TV has different game modes, like standard mode, RGP Mode, RTS, FPS, sports, and Custom mode which you can easily swap between according to the type of game you are playing.
The shadow details and blacks of this TV are very impressive and are with minimal posterization. This TV has great capabilities to take your gaming experience to next level whether you are playing on Xbox or a PS5.
Compared to Sony X95K:
I will make this short and will tell you that Sony is better than this Samsung S95B for its colors and details, but this Samsung S95B has higher brightness which is good but that also has one inverse effect on the details of the picture, in higher brightness Samsung S95B loses highlights details which is bad and this is why I said Sony X95K is better than the Samsung S95B if you are not buying it for gaming.
Extra Pros:
Samsung regularly sends the OS/Software updates for this TV which fixes all the problems in the Software and bugs if present there. There are four different picture modes available in this TV, a dynamic mode for gaming, a standard mode for normal use, a movie mode for watching movies, and a filmmaker mode.
Con:
One thing which Samsung lacked in this TV is making this TV solid and strong like the LG OLED C2 or any other OLED TV, this TV comes in a build quality which is not the best and that is the biggest con of this Samsung TV, if they would make it with a good build quality then this could be one of the best OLED TV of this year 2023.
One more con which I will like to mention is the OS or Interface of this TV which needs too much customization and for a non-expert person that will be very handy and tricky.
The Pros:
- VRR, ALLM, and 4K at 120Hz.
- Bright HDR for an OLED.
- Great SDR images.
- Pure blacks and good details in the shadows
- Generally superb picture quality.
- Solar-powered remote.
- Incredibly bright colors.
- Impressive anti-glare system
- Audio is good
- Good image processing and management of moving images
- Top emission system to minimize the risk of marking.
- Exceptionally wide viewing angle
- Multi View to split the screen and view two content simultaneously.
- Incredibly slim design.
The Cons:
- Aggressive ABL can get distracting with large areas of brightness..
- No Dolby Vision
- Imperfect blacks
- Poor interface, OS
- Raised blacks if it’s in a room with any ambient light.
- Noticeable color fringing.
- Small risk of permanent burn-in.
- No source button in the new remote
- Not solid build quality

Hisense ULED Premium U7H QLED Review:
The final TV is “Hisense ULED Premium U7H QLED” which is one of the best budget Smart TV to consider in the year 2023. This TV is completely bezel-less (having thin bezels). The stand of this TV is very solid and premium looking, it has two bases on which it stands and the design of the stand gives an attractive look to the TV. Impressive Gaming Performance:
As this TV is an LCD TV which means it will have lower black levels as compared to OLED TVs, but still it’s a good TV for gaming because it has very low input lag which will make your gaming smooth and clean. If you are planning to buy a good budget TV for your Xbox or PS5 I will only recommend this TV because this is one of the best performer TV at low price ranges, it has many gaming features and your console will love it.
This TV has 3D sound which is generated by Dolby Atmos which is a great feature for Gaming, and also it has HDMI 4 port that supports 120Hz at 4K resolution which means you can game at an insane resolution with a higher refresh rate.
Phenomenal Colors:
The best thing about this TV is the Colors, if we compare this TV to other TVs at the same price there is no other TV that can beat this TV by colors, I’m amazed at the true colors of this TV at HDR and SDR, even the expensive TVs cannot beat this TV easily if its about colors.
The Color Checker score this TV got was below three at SDR and in total, it was below four. The color accuracy of this TV is very impressive and it has a wide color gamut. As we know that Hisense also has a recently released TV which is U8H and if we compare both these TVs then the winner will be U8H because that one has better black levels.
Other Features:
This Hisense TV uses ULED Technology with Quantum Dot which will improve the overall Color accuracy of the TV. This TV also uses Full Array Local Dimming which will improve the black levels means the darks will be darker and whites will be whiter.
The Pros:
- Excellent contrast results in deep blacks in a dark room.
- Good selection of gaming features
- Phenomenal Color Results in SDR and HDR
- Google Assistant support by voice control.
- Excellent color performance and strong contrast.
- Solid HDR Punch.
- Impressive black levels.

- Impressive wide color gamut and great color volume.
- Remote has Netflix and Youtube buttons
- Apperently lower pricing.
- Low-resolution content is upscaled without any issues.
- Excellent peak brightness in SDR.
- Good reflection handling.
The Cons:
- Image degrades when viewed from the side.
- Slow response time.
- Not as cheap as the U6H or as bright as the U8H
- Motion not as smooth as pricier TVs
- 4k @ 120Hz signals aren’t displayed properly.
- Only decent response time; black smearing is visible.
- LCD panel has lower black levels as compared to OLED Panels

VIZIO 75-Inch P-Series 4K QLED HDR Smart TV Review:
This “VIZIO 75-Inch P-Series 4K QLED HDR Smart TV” is the best Budget TV with QLED Panel. This TV has a calibrated mode but that needs some good custom calibration to look good. This TV got a good stand built in solid quality, the stand looks like the stand of Hisense TV ULED U7H but here the shape is a bit different.
Gaming Features:
The display bezels are super-thin which sounds good, the contrast level of this TV is very high which also helps the blacks to display deeper and it will ensure a good gaming experience. The reflection handling of this TV is amazing along it got very low input lag which will help gamers get a smoother gaming experience especially esports gamers and Fortnite lovers.
Brightness:
This VIZIO P Series TV is having 700 nits of brightness which are good brightness for any low-priced Smart TV like this one. It also supports AMD Free Sync Premium but it doesn’t have support for NVidia G-Sync, but you can play games at 4K and 120Hz due to the HDMI ports it has.
Image Details:
The clarity of the image on this TV is very clean and good, and the image is also smooth but sometimes this TV shows judder which disturbs the image smoothness. The colors look good on this TV and also this TV uses a wide color gamut which is something good.
Con:
The con which I will mention about this TV is the bad reflection prevention, if you place this TV around a window or in a bright environment then the display will show reflections which are so annoying, the display is not able to prevent light reflections so make sure to not place this TV around your room windows.
Con:
One more big con which is really annoying about this TV is the interface of this TV which always require an active internet connection when the TV starts up which is not acceptable for many of the users.
Con:
The final con about this TV which I really didn’t like at all is the high posterization of the image on this TV, this TV has an insane level of posterization which makes the image look broken and that’s so annoying to watch.

What to do in case TVs are not satisfying your Gaming?
As we know that TVs are only limited to a 120 Hz refresh rate which means that you cannot game on them above 120 Frame rates per second (FPS) which sounds pretty annoying, but there is one way that will allow your games to run upto 360 frame rates, and that is to consider a gaming monitor instead of TV, but there is one big con of monitors as compared to TVs, in Monitors we cannot stream or watch TV Channels directly, which means you will need to get some kind of external channel box to play your channels on any monitor.
Below I have mentioned all our best guides for different refresh rate monitors you can read them if you are willing to consider a gaming Monitor instead of a Smart TV.
